Amazing podcasts from BBC Radio Ulster - “Everyday Ethics”. Very accurately described on the website as “Provocative weekly debate with William Crawley on moral, religious and ethical issues.”
Christian centric, of course, focusing on social and cultural interplays in Britain, and in this podcast, Northern Ireland. This podcast in particular deals with the latest chapter of the Murphy report, the pope’s comments on the ‘war on Christmas’, abortion laws in Ireland, institutional abuse and the new inquiry in Norther Ireland, and more. A great array of speakers with a number of viewpoints, and William Crawley is by far the best mediator I’ve ever come accross. Most of all, I appreciate how he asks for concrete examples from speakers, and prods them to fully explaining their ideals. Couldn’t ask for more- I’ll definitely be tuning in for next week.
